Is CandyShorts free, and how much can you actually watch?

What “free” covers on Candy AI Shorts

Going through all 167 series on 26 October 2026, the pattern held on 166 of them. Exactly one gives you three: Simona Rossi: Wrong But Right.

• Episode 1 plays straight away. No account, no email, nothing to confirm beyond that you are over 18.
• Episode 2 plays once you register. Registration is an email address and an age confirmation. It does not ask for a card and it does not start a trial.
• Episode 3 onward costs tokens. The price is set per series: 12 tokens an episode on 153 of the 167 series, and 30 on the other 14.

So a five-episode series gives you two free and three paid. At the usual 12 tokens that is 36 tokens to finish; on one of the 14 pricier series it is 90.

What two free episodes actually get you

More than it sounds. Each episode runs about a minute, shot portrait for a phone, and the series are built so the free pair carries the setup and ends on the hook. You get the premise, the cast, the tone and the reason to keep going — which is the point, since the free episodes are the advertisement.

What you usually do not get is the explicit material. The openers tend to stay in flirting-and-tension territory. If you are only here for the free tier, you are watching a well-made tease.

Where people get this wrong

“Free CandyShorts” sites that are not CandyShorts. Search for free episodes and you will find pages promising full series as downloads or re-uploads. They are not the real thing — see the leaks page for what those actually are and why the files do not exist.

Confusing free episodes with the Candy AI free tier. Candy.ai is a larger product; Shorts is one part of it. Tokens bought for Shorts work across the rest, which is why the token price, not an episode price, is what you are really buying.

Expecting a trial. There is no seven-day anything. The opening episodes are the whole free offer.

Is the paid part worth it?

That depends entirely on the series, which is why this site rates each one rather than the platform. A five-episode series at 12 tokens an episode is a cheap way to finish a story you are already enjoying. The same series at 30 tokens, if the free pair did not land, is not.
